This peak is not in the book.
Echols Mountain is an attractive summit that is located north of Purgatory Peak and west of Black Lake Road. I have not talked to anyone who has climbed this peak. However, based on my observations, it looks as though the best way to reach the peak is via FST-187, which leaves Black Lake Road at a pass on the North Ridge of Purgatory Peak.
