This peak is not in the book.

Windy Ridge is the high point of the Chesterfield Range. Rick Baugher is the only person I know who has visited this summit. Rick’s notes are set out below. USGS Grizzly Creek

“On 11/3/11, I drove to the Chesterfield townsite, where some neat old brick LDS buildings are preserved. From here, rode a dirt bike NE toward 24 Mile Reservoir. Parked at end of the two-track. Starting at 6,150 feet, ascended rib NE in dense brush to reach the crest of Windy Ridge. From here, hiked the grassy, windswept ridge crest SE a short mile to the ‘Chesterfield Range HP.’ Built cairn and left note.”

From the summit cairn of Chesterfield Range Highpoint this 11/3/11 view looks NW along the range crest. You would almost need a hand level to discern where the high point is located. Rick Baugher Photo
