Polecat Mountain is located in the Polecat Reserve at head of Polecat Gulch in northwest Boise. The peak sits due west of Peak 3793. The City of Boise and BLM manage the land. USGS Boise North
Access
The peak is easily accessed from the Polecat Loop Trail System which can be reached from either Cartwright Road in the north or Collister Road in the south. Use the link below for the Polecat Reserve for additional information.
Route, Class 2
The summit is most easily accessed from the junction of the Quick Draw and Doe Ridge Trails. Hike due north from the junction of those trails to the summit. Currently, there is no trail to the summit.
